Approaching the end of our vacation, we paid another visit to Kim's parents.

Stopping on our way down south, the Kuchtas played host to two weary travelers.

Ted and Sharon were very gracious hosts, and their home is a great place to stay

whenever we're in town. This time around was a very short visit (Not even a full

day). We didn't have any time to visit with any friends or relatives, but we did

manage to take a short drive down some of the roads that defined our younger

years. We drove down Suburban Dr. saw the old Vaessen homestead, and we even

took a drive out into the 'countryside'. Lawrence Dr. used to be 'out there' on the

limits of De Pere. Now it's fully developed - Homes abound, and the countryside is

slowly slipping away.
