Xaltor was one of the original members of the Xterminators. He met five other adventurers in Whillip one fine day. They all managed to discover an advertisement at the City Square Kiosk. The 'Adventurers Wanted' advertisement led them to "X's" Manor, and he became a founding member of a band of adventurers soon afterwards. The Human, Knight was a Thayan expatriate, having left his homeland as an emissary, he decided to abandon that way of life, and take up a more honorable path.

Xaltor was played by Pete M. (The player that originally created Xaltor), until he left our group in October of 2020. After Pete's departure, we kept Xaltor on the roles of the Xterminators while we searched for a replacement. Thankfully, we found someone (Jeff L.) who was will to continue playing Xaltor. Jeff played Xaltor from 06 Feb, 2021 until 26 Jun, 2021. While Jeff was willing to play Xaltor, he also started working on his own character; to be introduced at a later date.

As of 26 Jun, 2021: In a glorious salute to chivalrous combat, Xaltor died in glorious combat. While exploring the ruins of a sunken fortress, he was fighting overwhelming odds, defending the party, when he charged a determined Hobgoblin. Shoving the hobgoblin over a cliff (using a bull-rush maneuver), a nearby opponent (Another Hobgoblin) saw this combat maneuver and executed the same technique that Xaltor employed. Xaltor was unlucky in the ensuing test of strength, was shoved over the edge of the shaft, and unable to catch himself on some vines as he fell. The result was... Eighty feet below. Long live Xaltor a shining example of Chivalrous valor!

Later... after the party returned back at the Manor (on the 7th of Mavis, 1008) - According to Phulleigh's journal entry: "After breakfast we went to the Beacon in order to have one of the priests cast speak with dead. That way we could speak to Xaltor to make sure he wanted to be raised back to life. But when we spoke to him, he said he didn't care what we did with his stuff And he chose to be burned instead of buried. That was unexpected. I almost started to argue with him, but I remembered that Vern said this wasn't actually him, but just a spirit".

Physical Description
At 6'4" and 180lbs. Xaltor was somewhat atypical for a Mulan Human from the Thay region. He's was a bit taller and slightly heavier than most. Most Mulan people are tall and slim, sometimes to the point of being gaunt. Not so for Xaltor, he was clearly built of hardier stock. Most likely the result of noble blood-lines or upbringing. With blue eyes, blond hair, perfect gleaming white teeth, and fair skin, his lineage spoke of non-Mulan ancestors. Xaltor's mother (whom he never knew) came from a northern region. It is rumored that her skin was as white as alabaster and her hair was as yellow as the sun. Xaltor's physique was due in part to his training as a Knight, and he was often spotted lifting weights.

Homeland (Country/City)
Xaltor was the son of a Kazark (a lesser noble) in the lesser Tharch of Thazalhar (capital city (where Xaltor grew up) has same name). Thazalhar was one of the only Tharchs of Thay that wasn't held in thrall by an evil Tharchion. Unfortunately, the bureaucracy and corruption of Thay permeates all levels of society, and Xaltor's family was affected by that insidious form of oppression as well.
