A warm welcome: It took us approximately two hours to drive down to Wauwatosa (a
suburb of Milwaukee). When we arrived, we got a very warm welcome from Kary, Mark,
Emma, and Sam. Shortly after our arrival, we celebrated some birthdays, Kim's (again!)
and Mark's sister. We had some great food, conversation, and a relaxing visit as the
evening passed.
The Pabst Mansion: While our stay in Wauwatosa was very short, we took advantage of
the opportunity to do a little sightseeing. Here we spent an afternoon touring the Capt.
Frederick Pabst Mansion. I love great architecture, and this grand old mansion sure was
an excellent example. Even the kids had a good time.
The Clough Clan: After enjoying an early dinner (at the Milwaukee Ale House), we posed
to have our picture taken. Afterwards we went back to the house, and spent the rest of
the evening visiting and playing cards. We sure had a good time. It's too bad our trip
had to end so early. By the 5th of August, Kim and I were back in Denver.
