The party knew very little about Leif. He was first encountered in the Sewers of Oblivion, beneath the ruins of Lingice-Enz. Leif and a few other characters (Members of an adventuring group known as 'Nothing But Trouble') were found encased in some sort of stasis inducing coccoons. They were engaged in a quest to find Eivobrin's Incanabula when they encountered a powerful group of spiders. Thanks to the members of the H.A.L.L.O.W.ed Knights, they were freed from their cocoons and given a second chance at life.

Leif continued to adventure with the H.A.L.L.O.W.ed Knights for several weeks before his unfortunate demise. He died in that dark, dank and desolate dungeon with little solace, and only the heroes who survived to remember his name. After consulting with the departed spirit of Arco, his mortal coil was allowed to expire. The journey of Leif would continue only in the after-life. Long live Leif the brave, long live Leif the valiant, long live Leif the legendary hero of the Silver Marches!

Physical Description
Leif is a young adult Male, Human of Illuskan ancestry. Lief is pretty big for a Human, standing in at 6' 6", he is fairly thick as well, weighing in at 230 Lbs. When not wearing his horned helmet he has wavy sandy blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. He has a scar across his nasal region starting at his right eye and to left cheek. If seen doing his morning calisthenics he has a large tattoo that spans his broad sholders of the symbol of Tempus across his back and one on his right bicep as well.

Homeland (Country/City)
No one in the group knows anything about Leif's homeland, as he hasn't related any details to our party yet. The party knows virtually nothing about Leif. Accepting him into the group on trust alone, the party has displayed a great willingness to accept the unknown. To embrace the uncertain, to tempt fate and dare the odds.

Background / History
From the Silver Marches in the North. Leif’s families were farmers. He never took to the animals, only raising a few cows and chickens. He was never very good at keeping plants alive either. Being a large, strong lad, he was good at brining in the harvest. During his teen years he helped out by logging. After one payday he went to a nearby tavern, where he tried some of his “diplomacy” and a fight broke out. After smashing a few heads in he saw one of his coworkers getting pummeled by another man. So he started in on the man, but the other man put a good whupping in on your Leif.

When Leif came to, the man told him He "was impressed that he would back up his friend".  He then told Leif that he was a priest of Tempus and that he could train him in ways of fighting and war. Leif took to the new subject very quickly. Leif was really proud when he was accepted as an acolyte of Tempus at the young age of 18. Thus he was trained as a Battle Priest. Although he does think of himself more as a warrior than a preist, he does his best to follow the teachings of the elder preists. After a couple of years of training he signed up with a mercenary group to help defending the Dalelands against a 'Mind-Flayer' incursion.

The Mercenary group was killed in an ambush and Leif was captured and taken to an underground lair by a Illithid mage for some nefarious purpose mumbled something about the soul of priest. Leif was really upset about death of his companions. He was rescued by a group of adventurers. From this group he learned about the properties of mithral armor and adamantine weapons. They took him to Waterdeep and left him there.

Leif then went to study at the temple of Tempus in Waterdeep. He took up the role of Drill sergeant for a few years. After a time Leif felt Tempus call him to war. So he took his leave and purchased some assorted weapons including a adamantine axe and a mithral breastplate and a sturdy shield; non magical as I have the ability to make them magical (extended greater magic weapon and magic vestment spells).  He also bought some adventuring gear. The temple gave him a couple of potions and a couple of scrolls. He packed his bags and made his way east.

Leif bought a teleport from a transport union to Silverymoon, but due to a fluke he ended up in a Sembian town called Whillip. For a year or so he took odd jobs in Whillip, always looking for an opportunity to prove himself. When the opportunity presented itself he joined an adventuring group called ‘Nothing but Trouble’. Leif wasn’t surprised to find that the group lived up to its name.

That was two years ago. Leif and the other members of ‘Nothing but Trouble’ had agreed to go on a quest for a wizard named Tekelut Thringus. This mage teleported the entire group to the town of Kester; that’s where they heard his ‘sales pitch’ and decided to depart on this quest. A quest for a book called “Eivobrin’s Incanabula”. Some sort of magical book, with a ‘Closed Eye’ ornament on the cover. After nearly a year of trekking across the desert wastes brought them to a ruined city and the sewers beneath. Out of all the monsters they fought, who would have guessed that a few spiders would cause the most trouble?
