Picnic at the beach

We spent a lot of time at the beach. It was quiet, untamed, and far from the base. Here is (left to right) Robert Vaessen (that's me), Kim Vaessen, and Dino Starineri. Missing from photo, Dino's (now ex) wife Patty. We spent the entire afternoon on the beach. No we didn't go swimming, most of the beaches along the Adriatic were similar to this one; mostly volcanic rock, not very appealing to a swimmer. We explored the coastline, had a picnic, and played Uno™ until dark. It was a great way to spend the day. After dark we moved the party indoors to Patty & Dino's place.
