We can only sense one possible matter state at a ‘time’. We are only capable of experiencing the totality of all possible matter states in very small slices or glimpses of the whole. Due to the ways in which our consciousness/spirit are limited, we can only experience those glimpses in a linear fashion where one matter state may only follow specific probability paths from an adjacent matter state. Since we experience these matter states in a linear fashion, we interpret the sequence as if there were motion when we take note of differences between one matter state and the next. When we ‘see’ what we believe to be motion (change) our brains try to measure that change, in ways that make sense to us. Perceived change (motion) over a relativistic period (time).</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Neither time or motion exist. Our brains interpret what we perceive (through the limited senses of our physical manifestation) against the artificial constructs of time and motion. You compare the unreality of minutes and meters, as arbitrary units of measurement, yet I'm not sure if you believe both time and space don't exist or just time does not exist.<br class="">The reason I ask is that I'm looking for the theory (I think there must be one) that time is just like space except that we cannot see it all laid out as we see space. Therefore we mistakenly believe that events "happen", when actually we are simply choosing one path from an immense number of paths that are already in place.<br class="">I am just now opening a book by Storrs McCall, in case he can tell me.<br class="">I hope you will also let us read the second part.
