The dream can feel as real as your ‘waking’ life. However, you ‘know’ that it wasn’t ‘real’ it was just a dream. It may have felt real, it may have seemed real, it may have sounded real, it may even have smelled real (yes I’ve had dreams that include the sense of smell), but you ‘know’ it wasn’t ‘real’. Was there any ‘motion’ in the dream. Did your dream self actually move from the kitchen sink to the sofa as your dreamed about doing the dishes then relaxing with a pint on the couch afterwards?</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Of course not. There was no actual motion, it was just an illusion, it was just a dream. No physical objects actually moved, you just think or thought they were moving. While you were dreaming you dreamed that you walked about 5 yards from the sink to the sofa. In your ‘waking’ state you ‘realize’ that there wasn’t any actual motion. You just imagined that you moved from the sink to the sofa. You only dreamed it, your brain made you ‘think’ that you moved from place A to place B. In fact you were actually laying on the bed sleeping.
